Senior Structural Engineer

Client

Our client have experienced excellent growth over the past 5 years and they are now in a position to appoint an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to take the lead on the design of projects that vary in size.

Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer working with this engineering consultancy you will be the design lead for projects mainly within the residential sector, so experience of this would be greatly beneficial. You would be expected to be a great communicator and be comfortable mentoring a team of junior engineers, aiding their development.

They are keen to take on a Senior Structural Engineer who is looking to progress their career in the coming years within a growing business.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Structural Engineer the following will be expected of you –

Guide and mentor the junior members of the team.
Effectively take the lead on structural aspects of a variety of projects.
Producing accurate structural calculations.
Report writing.
Preparing design quotes.
Client Liaison.
Supervising, checking and signing off work.
Taking a prominent role in design team meetings.
Person

Experience at a Senior Structural Engineer or candidates ready to take the step into a Senior Structural Engineer position.
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelors/Masters degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Chartered Structural Engineer or working towards chartership.
Able to reliably commute to the office in Leicester.
Personable and comfortable working at the forefront of a dynamic team.
Remuneration

£45,000-£55,000 depending on experience plus a comprehensive benefits package.
