About the role
Childwall Sports & Science Academy is looking to appoint reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our catering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in providing a high-quality service to students and staff. The successful candidate will support the Catering Manager with food preparation, serving customers, cleaning duties and ensuring high standards of food hygiene and health and safety are maintained at all times.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
- Preparing service areas for lunchtime service.
- Supporting hospitality and catering requests.
- Washing up, cleaning and maintaining kitchen and dining areas.
- Following food hygiene, COSHH and Health & Safety regulations.
- Delivering excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors.
- Has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Is reliable, hardworking and professional.
- Is willing to undertake training and development opportunities.
- Has previous catering experience (desirable).
- Holds a Food Safety/Hygiene Level 3 Certificate (desirable).
