Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for both customers and employees. Responsibilities include monitoring store premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches, as well as conducting regular patrols to ensure all areas are secure. The Retail Security Officer will also be responsible for performing surveillance through CCTV systems, responding to incidents promptly, and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary.

In addition to ensuring the safety of the retail environment, this position requires effective communication skills to interact with customers and staff. The Retail Security Officer will assist in training staff on security procedures and best practices, as well as documenting and reporting any suspicious activities or incidents. Strong observational skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols are essential for success in this role. Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred, along with a valid security license where applicable.
