Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both customers and employees. Key duties include monitoring store premises, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Retail Security Officer will also be tasked with identifying and preventing theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities, utilizing surveillance equipment and reporting any suspicious behavior to management promptly.

In addition to loss prevention, the Retail Security Officer will assist in the training of staff on security protocols and procedures. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role requires collaboration with law enforcement when necessary and providing testimony in legal matters involving theft or other incidents. Candidates should possess strong observational skills and a proactive attitude toward security challenges. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with prior experience in retail security or a related field. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is a must.
