Relief Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Relief Retail Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and staff. Your primary duties will include monitoring premises through regular patrols, both on foot and via surveillance systems, to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities. You will also assist in the enforcement of store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe atmosphere. Engaging with customers and staff in a friendly manner will be essential to foster a positive shopping experience while being alert to any suspicious behavior.

Additionally, you will be tasked with responding promptly to incidents such as shoplifting or disturbances, conducting investigations, and preparing detailed reports on any security-related events. Collaboration with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary will be a key part of your responsibilities. Ideal candidates will possess excellent observational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to security. Previous experience in a retail environment or security role is highly desirable, along with a valid security license.
