School Caretaker

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive School Caretaker to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our educational facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the school premises. This includes performing routine inspections, maintaining grounds, and ensuring that all areas are secure and in good condition. You will also manage waste disposal, assist with set-up and breakdown for events, and respond promptly to any maintenance requests from staff or students.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be skilled in general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, painting, and gardening. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate with teachers, administrative staff, and outside contractors. A flexible approach to work hours is also necessary, as some tasks may need to be completed outside of regular school hours. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with a basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
