Salary: £31,626 – £32,853 per annum (£15.60 – £16.20 per hour)
Additional Earnings: £3,000 – £6,000 per year in sleep-in payments (based on 4–8 per month)
Total Package: Up to £38,853 per annum
Contract: Full-Time, 39 hours per week (long day shifts)
Joneshouse Recruitment is currently recruiting for two Deputy Children’s Home Managers to join a children’s residential service in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
This role is ideal for either:
A Senior Residential Support Worker ready to take the next step into management, or
An experienced Deputy Manager looking for a supportive and well-structured residential childcare environment.
As Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Registered Manager and leadership team, supporting the day-to-day operation of the home while ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and staff development are maintained.
You will also play an important role in guiding staff, supporting young people with complex needs, and contributing to the continued development of the service.

To be considered for this role, you will need:
Experience
At least 2 years’ experience working in a Residential Children’s Home at Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager level.
Qualifications
NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent).
Knowledge
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and residential childcare standards.
Management Skills
Experience supporting staff rotas, team leadership, and operational responsibilities within a residential setting.
Driving Licence
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
