Embedded Software Verification and Validation Engineer   Location: Bristol   Are you a passionate Software Engineer with experience in verification and validation within an embedded, real-time environment?   If so, we're currently looking for an experienced Embedded Software Verification and Validation Engineer to join a dynamic team. This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary of up to £64,000, coupled with generous benefits such as a company bonus, enhanced pension contributions, overtime and flexi leave, and excellent training and development opportunities.   The role primarily involves working on sophisticated defence systems, verifying embedded software that operates within safety-critical, real-time systems. Your expertise will include developing structured test cases from requirements, executing tests in lab environments, and providing actionable feedback.   Experience with embedded software programs in Ada, especially within RTOS contexts, is highly valued. Knowledge of verification standards (such as DEFStan 00-55, DO-178C, DO-330), modelling, test automation, and safety-critical system processes will give you a distinct edge.   If you have a background in verification and validation within embedded software environments, particularly with experience in ADA, and real-time systems, we would be delighted to hear from you.
