Join secondary schools across Leeds and Wakefield, supporting students aged 11–18 by delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment while gaining invaluable experience working alongside experienced teaching staff.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the teacher’s absence.
• Manage classroom behaviour to create a positive and productive learning environment.
• Support students to remain engaged and focused throughout lessons.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff across the school.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and lesson progress.

Who we’re looking for:

• Confident, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with young people.
• Graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, tutors, or experienced Cover Supervisors.
• Strong communicators who can engage and motivate students.
• Calm, adaptable and resilient, with excellent classroom management skills.
• Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential.

What this role offers:

• Pay: £107.71 – £137.71 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
