Join secondary schools across Leeds and Wakefield, supporting students aged 11–18 in the classroom while working alongside experienced teachers and support staff. You’ll gain hands-on experience helping students achieve their potential and develop the skills needed for a successful career in education.

What you’ll do:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across a range of subjects.
• Work with individual students and small groups to improve confidence, understanding and progress.
• Provide targeted academic and pastoral support where needed.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Build strong relationships with students, teachers and wider school staff.

Who we’re looking for:

• Recent graduates with a passion for working with young people.
• Individuals considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, youth work or education.
• Confident communicators who can motivate and engage students.
• Patient, proactive and adaptable individuals who enjoy working as part of a team.
• Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential.

What this role offers:

• Pay: £107.71 – £137.71 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
• Outstanding classroom experience in a variety of secondary schools.
• Ongoing support from experienced education consultants.
• An excellent foundation for PGCE, teacher training, educational psychology and other education careers.
