Join secondary schools across Leeds and Wakefield, delivering engaging lessons to students aged 11–18 across a range of subjects. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning while gaining experience in a variety of school settings.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.
• Create a positive and productive learning environment where students can thrive.
• Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of different classes and abilities.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.
• Provide feedback to school staff on student engagement and lesson outcomes.

Who we’re looking for:

• Qualified Teachers with QTS or ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
• Confident educators who can quickly build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Adaptable and organised professionals who enjoy working in a variety of school environments.
• Strong classroom practitioners with effective behaviour management skills.
• Subject specialists and general Cover Teachers are both encouraged to apply.

What this role offers:

• Pay: £162.31 – £223.62 per day (dependent on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
