Key Responsibilities

• Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher with daily duties, lesson preparation, and classroom management.

• Targeted Support: Work with small groups and deliver 1:1 interventions to support pupil progress across different age groups and abilities.

• Creative Adaptation: Use your imagination and flexibility to adapt learning materials on the spot to keep children engaged.

• Positive Learning Environment: Foster a safe, supportive space where pupils feel confident and excited to learn.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience working with children or young people (primary school experience preferred).

• Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desired, but relevant experience is fully considered!

• Compliance: An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

• Right to Work: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is unavailable).

• Key Skills: Strong classroom management skills, adaptability, and a warm, approachable personality.
