PET1 Retail security officer

We are seeking a dedicated PET1 Retail Security Officer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our retail environment. The ideal candidate will monitor premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities while providing a safe shopping experience for customers and staff. Key responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, and maintaining a visible presence to deter potential offenders. You will also be tasked with reporting any suspicious activities, incidents, or breaches in security protocols to management promptly.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with store management and staff to implement effective security measures and assist in training employees on loss prevention strategies. The successful candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to remain calm under pressure. Additionally, a background in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the retail space.
