We’re recruiting on behalf of a friendly, independent and well established small animal group looking for an experienced Head RVN to lead their nursing team across two sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior or Head RVN who enjoys combining hands on nursing with leadership and team development.

The role

You’ll lead the nursing team, ensuring high clinical standards and excellent patient care while supporting the day to day running of the practices. Working closely with the Practice Manager and Clinical Director, you’ll oversee nursing rotas, mentor colleagues, support student nurses, develop nurse clinics, maintain clinical protocols, and contribute to practice improvements.

Who are we looking for?

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
• At least 3 years’ post qualification experience in small animal practice.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Confident in all aspects of clinical nursing and anaesthesia.
• Passionate about mentoring others and delivering exceptional patient care.
• You will have previously worked as a HVN/Senior RVN

Desirable: Clinical Coach qualification, EzyVet experience and knowledge of quality improvement or insurance claims.
