About the role
Make Learning Shine: Classroom Support Assistant - Make a Real Difference!
Are you ready to truly make a lasting impact on children's lives by transforming learning into a fun, accessible, and meaningful adventure? Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs in a dynamic and friendly environment? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you to thrive!
We're seeking a dedicated Classroom Support Assistant to join a vibrant school. This isn't just about assisting; it's about empowering young learners and being a pivotal part of their educational journey.
What Your Day Will Look Like: Empowering Learners
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you'll be at the heart of the learning experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing essential 1:1 support to students, tailoring your approach to their individual needs.
Facilitating engaging learning within small groups, fostering collaboration and progress.
Assisting effectively in whole-class settings, ensuring every student has the support they need.
Specialising in supporting learners with severe and complex needs, helping them overcome challenges and celebrate achievements.
Collaborating closely with the class teacher to achieve learning objectives and create an inclusive classroom.
What You'll Bring: Your Essential Skills & Qualifications
While a Teaching Assistant Qualification and relevant experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) are highly desirable, they're not essential. We're looking for passionate individuals with:
GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) - these are essential requirements.
Eligibility to work in the UK is a must.
If you have a genuine desire to make a difference and a willingness to learn, we encourage you to apply!
What We Offer You: A Supportive & Rewarding Environment
We believe in supporting our staff as much as they support our students. Joining our team means you'll benefit from:
A supportive and rewarding work environment where your contributions are truly valued.
Excellent benefits designed to enhance your work-life balance.
Accessible public transport links and free on-site parking for an easy commute.
Discounted childcare to support your family needs.
On-site training to continuously develop your skills and expertise.
Bright and spacious classrooms equipped with top-of-the-range resources and technology.
A highly supportive Senior Leadership Team committed to your success.
Enjoy free tea, cakes, and biscuits in our modern staff room - a little treat to brighten your day!
Dedicated time allocated during your workday to pursue professional development, such as HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) or even Qualified Teacher Status.
Ready to Apply?
This is a full-time, permanent (term-time only) position offering an incredible opportunity to shape young lives.
To apply, please submit your application today! Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a comprehensive three-stage interview process. We can't wait to hear from you!
