Quality Checker (Freight)

Freight Quality & Scanning Operative for a reputable freight and logistics company based in Lichfield.

This is a hands-on role focused on freight quality, pallet scanning and operational accuracy across the hub.

Responsibilities:

• Scan inbound and outbound freight, using handheld technology
• Carry out quality and damage checks
• Photograph and record any freight issues identified
• Complete freight audit and compliance records
• Support hub operations through accurate data capture and attention to detail
• Help maintain high service and quality standards across the network

What we’re looking for:

• Strong attention to detail
• Warehouse, logistics or freight experience beneficial
• Comfortable using scanners and technology
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-moving operation
• Positive team player with a quality-first mindset
• Confident communicating clearly and professionally with drivers and operational teams
