About the role
Location: Wednesbury, WS10
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
Job Type: Ongoing Work
We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a busy recycling company based in Wednesbury (WS10). This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for ongoing, full-time work with consistent weekday hours.
The Role
Your main duties will include:
- Separating metal from plastic materials for recycling.
- Using hand-held power tools, including drills and hand-held saws.
- Dismantling items safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience using hand-held power tools such as drills and saws.
- Good practical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- A strong awareness of health and safety.
