Legionella Risk Assessor

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments of water systems to identify the presence and potential growth of Legionella bacteria. You will perform detailed inspections of water systems, including cooling towers, hot and cold water systems, and any other relevant areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your expertise will guide the implementation of effective control measures and monitoring programs to minimize risk and safeguard public health.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of water hygiene management and Legionella control measures. You will be expected to prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations, facilitating communication with clients to ensure they understand their responsibilities regarding Legionella management. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical data are essential, as is the capacity to develop and deliver training sessions on Legionella awareness and prevention. A background in environmental science, microbiology, or a related field, along with relevant certifications, is preferred.
