Dudley, West Midlands Manpower UK Ltd Field Service Engineer (Hydraulics) West Midlands | £30,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle Are you a mechanically minded Engineer with experience working on hydraulic systems? We're recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established engineering business supporting customers across the UK. This is a field-based role focused on the service, maintenance, installation and repair of specialist industrial equipment, with hydraulics forming a key part of the day-to-day work. If you enjoy fault finding, solving problems on customer sites and working on heavy mechanical equipment, we'd like to hear from you. The Role As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial machinery at customer sites Diagnosing and rectifying hydraulic and mechanical faults Installing and commissioning equipment Carrying out planned preventative maintenance Replacing and repairing hydraulic components including pumps, valves, cylinders and pipework Producing service reports and supporting customers with technical advice Ensuring work is carried out safely and to a high standard This is a mobile role covering customer sites, offering a varied working environment with no two days the same. What We're Looking For We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in: Field Service Engineering Mechanical maintenance and fault finding Hydraulic systems and components Heavy engineering, industrial machinery, plant equipment or similar environments Reading engineering drawings and technical documentation Suitable backgrounds may include: Field Service Engineers Hydraulic Engineers Mechanical Engineers Maintenance Engineers Plant Fitters Agricultural Engineers Forklift Engineers Powered Access Engineers Industrial Service Engineers A full UK driving licence is essential.
