Cleaning and Waste Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all. Your primary duties will include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas. You will also be tasked with removing waste and recycling materials promptly and responsibly, following all environmental guidelines and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes. Previous experience in a cleaning or waste management role is preferred, but not essential. A good understanding of health and safety practices is required, and you must be physically capable of handling manual tasks associated with this position.
