Security Compliance Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Security Compliance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards. Your primary duties will include conducting risk assessments, monitoring compliance with security protocols, and providing guidance on best practices to mitigate potential security threats. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that security measures are effectively integrated into the organization’s operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR. You will be required to conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate compliance levels, and prepare detailed reports for management, outlining findings and recommendations for improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing training sessions to raise awareness among staff regarding security best practices and compliance requirements. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly are essential for this position.

To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Risk Management, along with relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CISA. Previous experience in a compliance or security role is highly desirable.
