HGV Driver

Llanelli, UK Dyfed Steel * Dyfed Steels supply steel to our branches and customers directly on a daily basis and are now seeking to employ an additional HGV Driver. The role will be based in Llanelli but you will deliver all over the south of the UK.
* The successful candidate must be familiar with multi-drop deliveries and will be expected to ensure that their load is securely strapped down and, in some cases, assist with the loading of their wagon before leaving the yard. You will also be required to off-load when you get to site and issue correct paperwork to the customer. Your working time and driving time will be monitored by digital tacho and your must be able to operate this.
* You must have an HGV licence and have a valid CPC certificate. Your hours of work will be Monday to Friday 06.00 to 14.00 but, given the nature of the job, overtime will be required on a regular basis. You may also be required to undertake nights away when necessary to ensure the smooth operations of our logistics whilst remaining compliant with Drivers Rules and the Working Time Directive.

* In addition to a competitive hourly rate, you will also receive a daily Drivers Allowance of £8, an attendance bonus paid Monthly of £40 (100% attendance required) and some paid breaks.
