Technical Manager

Job Title: Technical Manager

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum

Location: Leeds

Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (1 hour lunch)

Main Purpose of Job:

To lead a team of technicians to ensure high output, high quality technical delivery with class leading customer satisfaction.

Regional Director

Main Tasks of Job:

This would be the job list, such as:

• Ensure customers are wowed through perfect, effective, timely communication & excellent customer service.
• Monitor and drive improvements in technical quality through coaching and training
• Early assessment of future work and ensure info is available to complete task, task/comments are clear and hours are allocated accurately.
• Check drawings leaving the business to ensure no technical mistakes and minimize revisions.
• Proactively review projects based on KPIs (revisions and hours spent) to address poor performing projects at the first sign of problems.
• Take ownership of escalated technical issues (internal and external) as needed.
• Regularly engage with senior engineers within your customers organisation to gain feedback and drive continual improvement.
• Perform appraisals and regular 1-2-1’s to ensure performance, training needs, career development etc. are being closely managed.
• Work hours required to achieve purpose of role.
