Relief Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Relief Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and inspecting buildings and access points. You will be expected to respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property at all times. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be required to report any unusual activity and collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.

In this role, you will also be responsible for controlling access to the facility, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining the security log. You will provide excellent customer service by assisting employees and guests with inquiries and concerns while demonstrating a professional demeanor at all times. The ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions is crucial, as you will be dealing with various situations that may arise. Flexibility in scheduling is required, as this position may involve working nights, weekends, and holidays.

To succeed in this role, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in security or law enforcement preferred. A valid security guard license and first aid/CPR certification are also required.
