Software Asset Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Asset Manager to oversee and optimize our software assets throughout their lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for managing software licenses, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and developing strategies to maximize the value of software investments. You will conduct regular audits, track software usage, and collaborate with various departments to identify needs and opportunities for cost savings. Strong analytical skills are essential as you will analyze software usage data to provide insights and recommendations for enhancements or changes to existing software resources.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software asset management, with a deep understanding of licensing models and compliance requirements. You will work closely with IT, procurement, and finance teams to create and maintain an accurate inventory of software assets. Additionally, you will develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline asset management processes. Excellent communication skills are necessary to educate stakeholders on software usage best practices and to negotiate with vendors effectively. A background in IT asset management or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications.
