Part Time Store Protection Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Part Time Store Protection Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for both customers and staff. Your primary duties will include monitoring store premises to prevent theft, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and promptly addressing any suspicious activities. You will work closely with store management to implement loss prevention strategies and conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities within the store.

As the first line of defense against theft and loss, you will engage with customers and staff to promote a culture of safety and security. Your responsibilities will also include preparing incident reports and documenting any security breaches or safety concerns. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in security or loss prevention is preferred but not mandatory. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
