Fettler/Deburrer

Pay: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour

Central Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company in Blackburn, recruiting a Fettler/Deburrer

Responsibilities

• Deburr and finish metal components using hand tools such as grinders, files, and linishing equipment.
• Work to production orders while meeting customer specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Use measuring equipment including tape measures, steel rulers, and vernier calipers.
• Select and use appropriate cleaning equipment for different materials and components.
• Package finished parts according to required specifications.
• Ensure all packaging is completed to a high standard to protect components during handling and transport.
• Follow all health and safety procedures in line with workplace policies.
• Read and understand work instructions and production orders.
• Use material handling equipment such as forklifts or lifting equipment when required (where licensed).
• Follow quality control procedures during all stages of production.
• Perform basic inspection of finished components and escalate issues when higher-level inspection is required.

This is a permanent position, based in Blackburn. Full time hours. Possibly rotating 6-2pm/2-10pm or could be a permanent 6-2pm for the right person
