Building Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our facilities through regular maintenance and repair work. Key duties include performing routine inspections of buildings and systems, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinating repairs with external contractors when necessary. You will also be tasked with maintaining records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to avoid costly downtime.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. A proven ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently is essential. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in a similar role and relevant certifications will be considered an advantage. Strong communication skills are required to liaise effectively with other departments and external vendors.
