Help Make a Difference in Your Community
Are you passionate about supporting residents and tackling anti-social behaviour? Do you have excellent organisational skills and enjoy a role that combines customer service, case management and administration?

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is looking for a proactive and organised ASB Co-ordinator to join our ASB and Community Safety Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to help residents affected by ASB while providing vital administrative and case management support to our ASB service.

    About the Role
As an ASB Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our ASB service. You will be responsible for managing medium level ASB cases, supporting victims, gathering information, and ensuring cases are accurately recorded and progressed. Alongside this, you will provide essential administrative support to the wider ASB Team.

Being the first point of contact, communication is key in this role. You will have case management experience and be able to make decisions independently. You will be handling detailed and sensitive information so having experience and working knowledge of GDPR is essential.

Your duties will include investigating reports of anti-social behaviour and nuisance. You will maintain regular contact with residents and complainants assessing incidents and determining appropriate actions. You will record, update and monitor case information on council systems, and provide support with the preparation of enforcement and legal documentation. You will provide administration support to the wider time including diary appointments, service requests and co-ordinate meetings and multi-agency case reviews. You will work closely with Housing Officers, Community Safety partners, the Police and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes for residents.

    About You
We are looking for someone who is:
    - Passionate about making a difference to local communities
    - Organised, methodical and able to manage competing priorities
    - Experienced in providing high-quality administrative support
    - Confident communicating with a wide range of people, including those in challenging situations
    - Able to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information appropriately
    - Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications and case management systems
    - Able to demonstrate sound judgement, discretion and professionalism
    - A strong team player with excellent customer service skills
    - A current full UK driving license holder

Experience within housing, community safety, anti-social behaviour, enforcement, social care or a similar customer-focused environment is desirable but not essential.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.

The postholder will have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

This post is subject to police vetting.
