We are delighted to advertise an internal opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Social Care Hub on a full-time, 12-month maternity cover contract. This role offers the chance to further develop your leadership and clinical expertise, supporting colleagues and delivering strengths-based interventions that help adults achieve greater independence and wellbeing.

About you...

You will be an experienced HCPC registered Occupational Therapist, passionate about person‑centred practice and enabling people to live safely and independently.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will deliver timely, creative occupational therapy interventions while supporting and guiding colleagues to maintain high‑quality, strengths‑based practice.

Working from our dynamic, multi‑disciplinary Adult Social Care Hub at Time Square, you will collaborate closely with social workers, nurses, therapists and wider partners across health, housing and voluntary sectors. Together, you will provide early intervention, manage risk and shape positive outcomes for adults at the very start of their social care journey.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will also play a key role in guiding, supporting and directing colleagues to ensure consistent, high‑quality practice.

Key responsibilities...

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions at first point of contact, supporting adults with a wide range of needs through early assessment, problem‑solving, and strengths‑based planning.
• Offer senior clinical oversight for complex cases, guiding decision‑making and supporting colleagues across the Hub and wider MDT.
• Deliver supervision, coaching, and professional guidance to occupational therapy staff, students, and unqualified colleagues.
• Contribute to service development, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement within the Hub.
• Access regular CPD, reflective supervision, and practical support to maintain professional competence and develop specialist skills.
• Provide cross‑team support within Adult Social Care as required to ensure service continuity and high‑quality practice.
