P6 Planner£250 - £300 per day PAYEWe’re currently recruiting for a Planner to implement and improve the planning process for one of our Energy clients in Barrow-in-Furness during the decommissioning of an offshore asset. The role plays a key part in enabling delivery of operational and maintenance activities across the asset, with specific responsibility for planning support to Barrow Terminal operations. You will need to using Planning to ensure that work is well-prepared, prioritised, and executable, enabling safe and efficient delivery of asset plans. The roles are being offered on a 6 month contract. They require 4 days a week on site in Barrow-in-Furness with 1 day working remotely. We can pay a rate of £250 - £300 per day PAYE inside IR35. Responsibilities        
Implement and improve the asset planning process by driving planning discipline and standardisation.Compile and facilitate 28-day and 3-month (3M) plans.Ensure plans are robust, prioritised, and executable.Drive stakeholder engagement and readiness for delivery.Provide daily planning support to Operations supporting the Onshore Operations Manager and operational teams.Guide prioritisation in alignment with safety, integrity, and production objectives.Identify and resolve constraints ahead of execution.Contribute to the 8-quarter (8Q) planning process. Support alignment of long-term activities with asset strategy. Provide visibility of future workload and resource requirements.Monitor planning performance (e.g. plan compliance, schedule adherence).Track and monitor Planning KPI’s to drive medium-long term improvements.Support delivery of safe and efficient operations.
Requirements
Experience in Project Management and implementing Project ControlsSignificant experience and knowledge of Primavera P6, and SAPSignificant knowledge and experience of integrated planning in an Operations environmentUnderstanding of Project Controls, across Planning, Cost, Risk, MoC, etc.Conducts all activities in a safe and effective manner and raises safety and environmental issues immediately and in line with corporate policyPrimavera P6, and SAPDesirable, technical background qualification.
