About the role
Overview
We’re working in partnership with a friendly SEN specialist school in Wallington that is looking to appoint a caring and dependable SEN Lunchtime Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible.
This role offers the chance to support children with special educational needs in a positive and structured setting during lunchtime.
Age Range: 7–19 years
Contract: Monday to Friday 11:30am To 1:30PM
Key Responsibilities
Supervise pupils during lunch across dining and outdoor areas
Support children with eating, play, and social interaction
Encourage positive behaviour and independence
Assist with personal care when required, based on individual needs
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
Adhere to safeguarding procedures at all times
Candidate Profile
Experience working with children (essential)
SEN experience (desirable but not required)
A patient, nurturing, and proactive attitude
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Commitment to supporting children’s wellbeing and development
Successful applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS certificate. Full support will be provided throughout the process
