Overview

An exciting Long Term opportunity is available for a Learning Support Assistant within the Secondary sector in North Tyneside. This role is perfect for educators looking to make a real impact in a supportive school environment. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide general support to pupils on a 1:1 mainstream in all areas of their learning. The role is to start ASAP and will run until the end of the academic year. This role is working Monday - Friday 8.30 - 3.30pm.

• Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Secondary setting.

• Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere.

• Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school.

Candidate Profile

• Relevant qualifications for a Teaching Assistant (e.g., QTS or equivalent).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Secondary sector.

• Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.

• Ability to work effectively within a school community in North Tyneside.
