About the role
Overview
Humly are recruiting for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to work part-time (Thursday & Friday) at a primary school from September 2026.
This EYFS Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone with strong Early Years, Nursery or Reception experience who is looking for a consistent 2-day role each week. You’ll be supporting young children with play-based learning, classroom routines, early communication, phonics, early literacy, numeracy and social development.
A Level 3 qualification in EYFS, Early Years or Childcare is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and expectations.
Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Primary setting.
Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere.
Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school.
Candidate Profile
Relevant qualifications for a Early Years Practitioner (e.g., QTS or equivalent).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Primary sector.
Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.
Ability to work effectively within a school community in Blackpool.
