Teaching Assistant

Overview

Humly North West is looking for an adaptable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a primary school community in Carlisle. This full-time role offers the unique opportunity to work across different age groups, supporting children from Early Years up to Key Stage 2.

Starting in September, this position runs initially until mid-October, with a strong potential to extend further. We need a versatile team player who can confidently step into various classrooms and provide high-quality support wherever it is needed most.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and expectations.

• Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Primary setting.

• Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere.

• Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school.

Candidate Profile

• Relevant qualifications for a Teaching Assistant (e.g., QTS or equivalent).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Primary sector.

• Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.

• Ability to work effectively within a school community in Carlisle.
