Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team, responsible for ensuring that outdoor spaces are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers, and maintaining garden beds. You will operate a range of landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring they are used safely and effectively. Attention to detail is essential as you will be expected to follow specific guidelines and schedules to keep all grounds in pristine condition.

Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas that require maintenance, reporting any issues to your supervisor promptly. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of horticulture, as well as experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping. Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are necessary. A valid driver's license is also required for transportation to different job sites.
