Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of various outdoor spaces, ensuring they are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. Your primary duties will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers and shrubs, and performing general landscaping tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining pathways, removing debris, and ensuring that communal areas are well-presented and inviting for all users.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for horticulture and outdoor maintenance. You should have experience operating grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, blowers, and hedge trimmers, as well as a solid understanding of plant care and landscaping techniques. A valid driver’s license is required, and any relevant horticultural qualifications would be advantageous. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent time management skills and the ability to adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
