About the role

Our Vacancy

We're looking for a skilled Carpenter Multi to join our responsive repairs and maintenance team. Working within Social Housing properties, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services that make a real difference to our residents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys a varied workload, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do

As a Carpenter Multi, you'll carry out a wide range of reactive repairs and maintenance tasks across occupied and void properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You'll take ownership of jobs from start to finish, aiming for a first-time fix wherever possible while working within agreed timescales and budgets. You'll work closely with colleagues and supervisors, identify when additional trades are required, accurately record job information using electronic systems, and maintain excellent relationships with residents and clients.

What You'll Need

You'll hold an NVQ or recognised qualification in Carpentry and a full UK driving licence. Experience working within Social Housing is desirable, along with a strong understanding of health and safety practices. We're looking for a reliable and self-motivated individual with excellent practical skills, a high degree of manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You'll also be comfortable working at height, on uneven ground, and within confined spaces when required.
