Theatre Recovery Nurse

Salary: £31.00 – £40.00 per hour

Secure Healthcare Solutions is currently recruiting experienced Theatre Practitioners (Recovery) to join our growing theatre team. This role offers the opportunity to support patients through the immediate post-operative phase, delivering safe and effective recovery care.

We welcome applications from professionals with recovery experience who are confident working within a perioperative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality post-operative care in the recovery environment
• Monitor and assess patients following surgery and anaesthesia
• Manage airway, pain, and vital signs in the immediate post-operative phase
• Recognise and respond promptly to patient deterioration
• Support clinical assessments, care planning, and accurate documentation
• Maintain infection prevention and control standards
• Work closely with the wider theatre and ward teams to ensure safe patient transfer
• Promote a professional and supportive team culture

Requirements

• Valid NMC or HCPC registration
• At least 2 years of recent Recovery experience within theatres
• Strong knowledge of post-operative care and patient monitoring
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A calm, responsive, and patient-centred approach
