About the role
Year 2 Teacher – Part-Time | Sparkbrook | September
Are you passionate about teaching and shaping young minds? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school based in Sparkbrook. This part-time position (3 days per week) is due to start in September offering you the opportunity to make a lasting difference in pupils’ learning and development.
Key Responsibilities of the Year 2 Teacher

Plan and deliver creative, high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Support pupils in developing their skills and knowledge across key subject areas.

Implement positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policy.

Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff about pupil progress.
Requirements for the Year 2 Teacher Role

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Proven experience working as a Year 2 Teacher or within a Key Stage 1 setting.

Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching practices.

Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.

An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
