IT Desktop Support technician

We are seeking a dedicated IT Desktop Support Technician to provide exceptional technical support and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and maintaining computer systems. You will serve as the first point of contact for internal users, resolving technical problems via phone, email, or in-person support. Your expertise will help to enhance user experience and maintain productivity across the organization.

Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and upgrading computer systems and software, as well as performing regular maintenance and updates. You will also assist in managing network connectivity issues, ensuring security protocols are followed, and implementing best practices for IT support. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Additionally, you will document issues and solutions in our ticketing system, enabling the team to optimize support processes and provide ongoing training to staff as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and various hardware components. A background in IT support or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician.
