Trainee Telemarketing Operative (Part-Time)

Location: Aldridge (Office Based)
Pay: Starting from £12.71 per hour (with opportunities for pay increases and career progression

We are a friendly, growing landscaping company based in Aldridge, specialising in the manufacture of bespoke garden accessories. We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic Trainee Telemarketing Operative to join our team.

No previous telemarketing experience is required as full training will be provided. However, experience in customer service, sales, or a similar customer-facing role would be an advantage.

The Role

This is an outbound calling position, but there is no cold calling. You’ll be contacting customers who have already made enquiries about our products, making these warm follow-up calls to discuss their requirements and provide excellent customer service.

Alongside speaking with customers, you’ll also be responsible for sending follow-up emails, updating customer information, and carrying out general administrative tasks.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Confident, friendly, and bubbly with an excellent telephone manner.
• A great communicator who enjoys speaking with people.
• Able to retain information and learn about our products.
• Computer literate and comfortable using email and basic office software.
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage administrative tasks alongside customer calls.
• Previous experience in customer service or sales would be beneficial but is not essential.

Hours

• Part-time to begin with.
• Working hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm.
• Days are flexible and will be agreed with the successful candidate.
• Following a successful 10-week trial period, there is the opportunity for the role to become full-time for the right person.
