Counterbalance Forklift Driver

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established logistics business for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to provide holiday cover on a short-term assignment. This is a great opportunity to secure immediate work with consistent weekday hours, weekly pay, and a supportive team environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trailers and containers, including the use of loading ramps where required
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse and yard areas
• Wrapping pallets and preparing goods ready for dispatch
• Supporting with light manual handling and general warehouse duties when required
• Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure goods meet required standards

What We're Looking For:

• Previous Counterbalance forklift experience is essential
• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-house or externally accredited licences accepted)
• Confidence loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling alongside forklift duties
• Reliable, punctual, with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail

What You'll Get:

• £12.90 per hour, paid weekly in arrears
• Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (40 hours per week)
• An 8-day temporary assignment providing holiday cover from 19th August till 28th August
• Free on-site parking and a full site induction
