Document Control Clerk Summary
We’re seeking experienced Document Control Clerks for a contract position based in Woking. This is an on-site role requiring five days per week in the office, ideal for individuals with a solid clerical background combined with proven document control experience on projects of a similar scale and scope. Maintain accurate document records in accordance with project requirements.
Process and control incoming and outgoing documentation efficiently.
Ensure document formatting complies with established standards.
Manage document revisions and updates across systems.
Produce document status reports for stakeholders.
Support project teams with document-related queries and compliance checks.
Archive documentation following internal project policies.
Must-have Requirements
Previous experience as a Clerk combined with document control responsibilities.
Practical experience in document control operations for projects of similar size and scope.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficiency in managing documentation workflows and revision control.
Nice-to-have Skills
Familiarity with document control systems and software tools.
Experience in engineering or large-scale projects.
