Job Title
Site and Facilities Assistant
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site and Facilities Assistant to support the successful delivery of a major Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) project near Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. This opportunity is ideal for a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a hands-on, site-based environment. In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the chance to contribute to a significant infrastructure project on a 2-year fixed-term contract.
Salary
£30,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location and Working Pattern

Location: Protos ERF site near Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
Working pattern: Full-time, 100% site-based
Contract type: 24-month Fixed-Term Contract (starting April 2026)

 
Responsibilities

Serve as the main site office administrator, managing supplies, documentation storage and travel arrangements
Oversee the upkeep of the site compound, ensuring facilities are safe, clean and fully operational
Coordinate utilities, maintenance tasks and logistics to support daily site operations
Provide complete administrative support to the Site Manager and project team
Welcome visitors and clients, managing hospitality arrangements as needed
Keep the Site Manager informed of all on-site activities
Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements relating to the role

 
Must-have Requirements

Strong administrative experience, ideally within construction or engineering
Comfortable working in a site-based environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Fluent English communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

 
Nice-to-have Skills

Basic diploma or equivalent in office administration
Understanding of HSEQ standards
Experience in a multinational setting
Additional language skills
