Senior Protection & Control Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Protection & Control Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of protection and control systems for electrical power systems. Your expertise will ensure the reliability and safety of electrical infrastructure by conducting thorough analysis, testing, and optimization of protection schemes. You will also be responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to define project requirements and oversee the execution of protection designs from conception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power systems engineering, specifically in protection relays, control systems, and SCADA. You will be expected to perform fault analysis, coordinate protective device settings, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices and technical solutions. Strong communication skills are essential as you will interface with clients and stakeholders, presenting project updates and technical findings.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in protection and control engineering. Professional engineering certification is preferred. A thorough understanding of relevant software tools and simulation programs is essential to effectively perform your duties.
