Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 5:00pm
• 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• On-call required (rota to be established as the engineering team continues to grow)

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Door Engineer with strong experience in at least two of the following disciplines:

• Automatic Doors
• Industrial Doors & Roller Shutters
• Gates & Barriers

You'll be responsible for carrying out the service, maintenance, fault finding, repair and installation of a variety of entrance systems across London and the surrounding areas. This is a varied field-based role offering excellent earning potential and the opportunity to broaden your technical skillset.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair and install a range of automatic doors, industrial doors, roller shutters, gates and barriers.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete installations and commissioning work where required.
• Accurately complete service reports and compliance paperwork.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service.
• Participate in the company's on-call rota.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in at least two of the following sectors:
  • Automatic Doors
  • Industrial Doors / Roller Shutters
  • Gates & Barriers
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience carrying out service, maintenance, repair and installation work.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Experience across all three disciplines would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
