Operations Coordinator

Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Location: Leicester, LE19
Pay: £28,000 to £30,000
Hours: Mon-Friday 08:30 to 16:30

Kenect Recruitment are currently hiring for an Operations Coordinator in the Leicester, LE19 area, this is a permanent position from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling and allocating engineers to installations, and project work
• Managing daily workload boards and planning upcoming jobs
• Preparing and issuing job documentation
• Raising purchase orders and ordering materials from suppliers
• Processing completed jobs through to invoicing
• Managing client portals
• Preparing and issuing RAMS, permits, and supporting compliance documentation
• Updating stock records and ensuring engineers have access to required materials
• Maintaining accurate electronic filing systems and project documentation
• Communicating with customers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Supporting the sales and project teams with administrative tasks

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in administration, operations coordination, service coordination, or project administration
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based systems
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Experience within engineering, construction, facilities management, catering equipment, or service industries would be advantageous
