This is a fabulous opportunity for a inspiring teaching assistant that enjoys working and supporting learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis. This highly regarded community specialist school is looking for an Specialist teaching assistant for a full time, permanent role (term time only). This school is seeking a positive, enthusiastic and empathetic individual who is committed to making learning accessible to children with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties. Several learners within this school will have multiple diagnosis and communication difficulties.

Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable)

Relevant teaching Assistant, care or childcare experience (Must be able to provide references)

SEN experience- Voluntary or paid

GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

Support the Class Teacher with all elements of the day to day running of the class

Supporting learners with severe and complex needs
