Offload Controller

Location: Stevenage (hybrid - 2-3 days per week onsite)

Duration: 12 month initial contract

Rate: £40ph UMB (Inside IR35)

Role details:
We are looking for an Offload Controller to support our defence client on a contract basis.

The role s essential in supporting the Test Equipment Offload across multiple programmes in both Development and Production. This position ensures timely offload task placement and continuous monitoring throughout the process to meet programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Release and manage all work within the SAP system, ensuring delivery forecasts are accurate and communicated to customers.
• Support schedule adherence, inventory, and delivery KPIs by executing the planning process efficiently.
• Maintain precise records within a Data Management System and process data to uphold accuracy.
• Ensure cross-functional alignment by acting as a bridge between various departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and external vendors.
• Collaborate with Goods Receiving, stores, and dispatch (Logistic Services) to resolve queries and maintain SAP accuracy.
• Support effective non-conformance management controls.
• Provide advice and support to stakeholders, detailing best practices and contributing to process improvement within the team.

Job Requirements:

• Experience using SAP
• Strong planning, scheduling, and coordination experience
• Experience within Manufacturing, Logistics, or Supply Chain
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working across different functions such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and interactions with external suppliers
• Proven ability to maintain accurate data and KPI reporting
• Strong organisational skills with capability to manage multiple priorities
• Continuous improvement mindset with experience documenting processes
• Quality and Non-conformance Management experience
